Kristin Hallett LICSW has been a practicing clinical social worker for 25 years in the greater Boston area, focusing primarily on psychiatric assessment and crisis management. She has consulted on hundreds of clinical cases in a variety of settings including Emergency Room Triage, Inpatient Psychiatry and Medical /Surgical floors. A large segment of consultation involves patients who have at some point experienced trauma. Whether it is an adolescent who has experienced a recent assault, and is now suicidal, or a veteran who has severe PTSD and is actively hallucinating.
Kristin has worked in several of Boston’s teaching hospitals including South South Hospital where she was the Social Work Manager for the Emergency Room to Steward HealthCare and most recently Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she served as the Program Leader for Clinical Social Work Department of Psychiatry.
Kristin received her Masters of Clinical Social Work from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work and her Bachelors of Arts from Simmons College. She has the distinction of interning under District Attorney William Delahunt who was the first United States District Attorney to establish a Domestic Violence Unit. She has been licensed since 1995 as an independent LICSW to practice in Massachusetts.
