Risk Analysis
At PARATUS SECURITY GROUP, we work with School Administrators, Planners, Architects, Engineers and other building science professionals to identify and quantify the security risks to which a school may be exposed. Our main objective of the risk assessment process is to identify vulnerabilities and find the most effective mitigation measures to achieve a desired level of protection. We then define and evaluate threats, consequences and vulnerabilities for the purpose of integrating the security risks into an effective design strategy. Risk reduction takes place by evaluating then implementing protective measures, and by preparing your school's Safety Emergency/Response Plans.
PARATUS SECURITY GROUP recently conducted a Risk Analysis at Jackson Walnut Park Schools, Newton, MA.
Preparedness Exercises
At PARATUS SECURITY GROUP, our FEMA-certified Master Exercise Practitioners will custom-design exercises to meet your specific needs. These range from discussion-based table top exercises all the way up to full scale exercises. We regularly utilize six types of exercises which are either discussion-based or operations-based.
Discussions-based Exercises familiarize participants with current plans, policies, agreements and procedures, or may be used to develop new plans, policies, agreements, and procedures.
Operations-based Exercises validate plans, policies, agreements and procedures, clarify roles and responsibilities, and identify resource gaps in an operational environment.
In addition to FEMA-certified Master Exercise Practitioners, our consulting team also includes experts in public health preparedness who understand and the growing intersection between emergency management agencies and public health preparedness agencies.
